Judd Wire’s Aerospace wire and cable (MIL-Spec & BMS 13-48) are currently used in a wide range of commercial and military airframes, avionics, satellites, missile guidance systems, fly-by cables, in-flight communication and entertainment cables, and military electronics ground equipment.
Judd Wire is approved for installation in the world’s largest transports built by the Boeing Commercial Airplane Group, and numerous other military and OEM programs.
Judd Wire’s two U.S. based factories (1953) are part of the Sumitomo Electric Industries (SEI) since 1988, a worldwide family of companies. Sumitomo, the largest manufacturer of wire and cable in Japan, provides Judd Wire with access to their extensive network of research and product development facilities.
Judd Wire’s Design and Applications Engineering team explores new materials and processes to meet demanding custom applications. New compounds are constantly designed, sampled, tested, and approved.
